When the ing form is used to form the continuous tense forms or when it is
used to modify a noun, it is a present participle.
When the ing form is used as the subject or object of a verb or
preposition, it is a gerund.

4. She enjoys swimming in the sea.
5. Trespassing is prohibited.
6. He is waiting for the bus.
7. It was an interesting movie.
