Play the men = don’t be womanish , behave like a
men

Mar = spoil
These roarers = storm and thunder which are
making a loud noise
Councilor = one accustomed to give order
Elements = storm , thunder and wind (the four
elements are earth, water, air, and
fire)
Hand = handle
Mischance of hour = death which is imminent
Hap = happen
Cheerly = hopefully
Good hearts = brave fellows
Methinks = I think; it seems to me
Drowning mark = the sign that he will embrace
death by drowning
Complexion = his external appearance and natural
colour of skin
Gallows = device for hanging a person
His…….gallows = his outward appearance shows that
he is clearly born to be hanged

A plague……howling = this oath was used by a man
in a mood of irritation ,anger , annoyance

pox means syphilis which is dreadful venereal disease

or abusively about sacred things
